
The Maltese Olympic Committee today announced its contingent for the inaugural Malta Invitational Games which will take place from the 6th to the 9th October.
Malta will be welcoming ten countries and approximately 200 athletes who will be competing in Bowling, Taekwondo and Triathlon. Malta will be fielding four athletes in Bowling. The Taekwondo events, which were given ranking status by World Taekwondo, will see fourteen athletes taking part. Triathlon will be fielding eight athletes.
The first two events will start on the 6th October with Bowling events starting at 2100hrs at the Eden Superbowl, St.Julian’s, Taekwondo events will start at 1015hrs at the Qawra Palace in Qawra, whilst the first multisport event hosted by the Triathlon Federation will start with a Duathlon in Hal Far on Friday at 1030hrs.
