As part of the ongoing preparations ahead of the Games of the Small States of Europe that will be held in Malta during the last week of May in 2023, the Maltese Olympic Committee will be hosting several Olympic Education Workshops for Year 5 learners.
These workshops, which are free of charge, will be held on Wednesdays at the University Sports Complex and Maltese Olympic Committee Offices between 9th November 2022 and 17th May 2023. It is important that school groups arrive before 9.30am. Session will be over at approximately 12.30pm.
A maximum of 75 learners per day will be accepted on first come, first served basis.
Workshops will include an Opening Ceremony, singing of the National Anthem, recital of the Olympic Oath, a visit to the Olympic Museum, meeting an Olympian, physical activities as well as distribution of workbook and related merchandise.
Learners are to wear their full PE kit and bring along a packed lunch.
